Electrical Engineering: Electrified  (July 22nd-26th)
During our Electrical Engineering camp, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine basic electronics and circuits. Students experiment with Snap Circuits® to discover the capabilities of major electronic components. In addition, students build their own flashlights and explore the world of magnetic energy by building their own Magnetic Levitation vehicle.  

Inventor's Workshop (Aug 5th-9th)
We have opened up the workshop for a week of fun, creativity, and of course --engineering! Over the course of a week, students will invent new machines and explore creative design solutions using the Engineering Design Process. Discover how a wind-up toy works and design your own drawing robot inside the Engineering For Kids Inventor’s Workshop.

STEM/Engineering for Kids

Engineering For Kids aims to inspire kids grades K-6 to build on their innate desire for answers by exploring engineering concepts in a fun, hands-on way. Join them this Summer at Rush, where your child will be presented with a variety challenging engineering activities from which they can learn and grow.

We have packages available for the weeks of July 22-26 and August 5-9. The package you select will include your child being at Rush Monday through Friday from 9AM - 5PM. There is also an option to add 1 hour of early drop off/late pick-up* and lunch provided by Rush (slice of pizza or hot dog & small drink for $3). *Early drop off at 8:30AM would be pick up at 5:30PM. Or, you can choose drop off at 9AM and pick up late at 6PM. Either of these options are $50/week.

9-9:30am: Arrival
9:30-11am: Engineering Activity
11-11:15am: Snack
11:15-12:15pm: Jump Time
12:15-2pm: Lunch & Free Build
2-3pm: Jump Time
3-5pm: Engineering Activity
